Rowrah Kart Circuit would host Round 2 of the X30 MSA Super 1 Series during the weekend 21st-23rd March, this would be the first official race of the COMPKART-MLR collaboration and what an outing this would be. Luke Whitehead (J-X30) would top the time sheets 9 1/100ths faster than the rest of the field. Placing him in pole position for the coming heats. With a 1st & 2nd in his 2 heats this would place him on pole for the Pre-Final. A solid performance in this would see Luke start from Pole for the main final. Unfortunately this would not go to plan and matters out of Lukes control would prevent him from taking the top step of the podium.

This round would also see Bradley Pennell (S-X30) on-board the Compkart Chassis for his first race with MLR and put a fine strong performance in. With a group top 6 in qualifying and unfortunate incidents in both heats Pennell would line up on grid 20 for the Pre-Final a strong solid finish in the pre, would see this young charger just outside of the top 10 and ready to charge for a podium finish in the main. With incidents per-tailing in front at the start it was never going to be easy and would ultimately place him inside the top 15 at the finish.

Privateer Reggie Duhy (J-X30) has had considerable success over the winter, winning many races and Finals. In March, Reggie would not only win 2 out of 3 Finals he entered but also be on the Super 1 Podium in P2 at the 1st Round. With confidence high from the 1st Round young Reggie proved that the previous championship round was no mere fluke and placed himself in a strong P3 qualification in group. With a further heat win in the 2nd heat and top 6 finish in the pre-final, young Reggie knew it was all to play for in the final. With an extremely strong drive he positioned himself back onto the podium again.

The team now travel to PF International Circuit to continue their testing & development program with the race the following weekend.
